Opt-in or splash pages are designed to give a quick overview and collect email addresses usually in response for a free gift or some information. These splash pages and opt-in pages drive traffic to your web sites and get you email address so you can send your offers to. Are they really that important? I think they are really underrated and people are getting excellent results with them. The other big advantage of opt-in pages and splash pages are what you can do with them. These pages can also be redirected to web sites so once you do get their email address you can show them a offer you may have. Opt-i pages and splash pages have now been around for a number of years, but haven't really been used until recently. Splash pages and opt-in pages are used on traffic exchanges to sell products or give away information. These splash pages work well in these exchanges and can get you a mailing list very fast.

The future of these opt-in and splash pages look like they are going to be around for a very long time. Not to many things in Internet marketing draw as well as splash pages. Now don't think that they are all perfect, because they aren't. You will find out that most splash pages have to be tweaked to make sure they are drawing well. Sometimes it takes time to get the perfect opt-in or splash page. Once you have that many people will try and copy your success. Splash pages are always copied if they are successful they are usually adapted to whatever they are selling or giving away. Mailing lists is the king on the Internet and to illustrated a point every subscriber to a mailing list is worth a dollar a month in sales to the owner of that name. This is why these splash pages are so critcal to your success and for your business to grow. Hopefully in the future splash pages and opt-in pages will grow and people will understand that they are a needed accessory to anyone's Internet business. Trying to build a business without them sure takes a lot longer. If you give splash pages a try you will see what everyone is talking about and why people use them all the time.
